Fundraising for Rowledge Village Hall

The hall depends for its survival on the good will and contributions of the local community, coupled with a modest rental income.

Maintaining and developing the hall as a vital community service requires constant fundraising.

We do this in a number of ways, some of which are detailed below.

We are always eager to have new people involved and new ideas, so please feel free to sign up or to contact us.

100 Club – This provides the opportunity to win up to £100 twice a year, plus £50 and £20 prizes every two months, and support the hall at the same time. Download the form here (note: this is a pdf file) and return it to any committee member.

Village Hall Fair – Every Autumn the Hall holds a family bazaar to raise funds. As well as the usual selection of stalls, there are tombolas, children’s play zone, coffee bar etc. We are are always looking for ideas and assistance – contact us.

The Coffee Spot – Every Friday, the Hall holds a coffee morning giving residents of the village the opportunity to catch up, exchange news, or just quietly read the paper with a coffee or tea and treat.

Friends of RVH – To fund the long term aims of the Hall, the Committee invites you to become a friend of RVH, through making a donation to our renovation fund. Please contact the Treasurer for details, or contact us.
